FAQs

What materials do you use?
I work with Portuguese cork, faux leather, vinyl, cotton canvas, quilting cotton and waxed canvas as well as the associated hardware, zippers and webbing used for bagmaking.

Why cork?
Cork is a sustainable material that is gaining in popularity across a variety of products. It is 100% natural and renewable; no trees are cut down during the harvesting process. In fact, removing the bark from cork trees actually helps to regenerate and extends the life of the tree! It is elastic, lightweight, water repellant as well as being stain- and scratch-resistant. All in all, it is low maintenance material that can have the look and feel of quality leather without the cost!

Why is the same style bag priced differently in some cases?
I don't have my items priced by style--I price them by materials used. If I happen to get something on sale, or the materials used differ slightly from a different item of the same style and are either more or less expensive, I price the item accordingly.

I saw an item I liked, but now it says it's sold out. Will it be back in stock?
Most of my items are one of a kind, so once they're gone, they're gone! That's not to say you might not see things very similar on the site, but something about them will always be different whether it is the interior fabric, what pockets are added and where, etc. If I ever make more of any item, it will always be listed in the description as having multiple quantities available.

Do you take custom requests/orders?
Sigh. I would rather not because I have learned from others that they almost always go wrong. Either the fabric choices are not what was expected, or someone changes their mind, or a mistake happens and then more supplies need to be purchased, etc. That is not to say I won't at least consider the idea. Email me at nicole@kipippiki.com and you might just catch me in an accommodating mood!

Do you offer gift wrapping?
I do not have this as an option on my site currently, and since I live in a very rural area, there are not many places I can travel to easily to purchase supplies. But go ahead and shoot an email to me at nicole@kipippiki.com with your needs and we'll see what we can work out!

Do you offer gift cards?
Not at this time but check back later....I plan on figuring out how to do gift cards!

What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept all major credit cards as well as PayPal.

Do you offer discounts?
I plan to offer occasional discounts around holidays or when I need to move stock. Keep checking in so you don't miss a good sale!

Do you collect sales tax?
I have a physical presence in Wisconsin and collect sales tax for orders shipped within the state. Any orders shipping out of state will not be taxed.

When will my order ship?
I work my regular job 40+ hours a week and am only able to get the post office on Saturdays. Any orders placed on Saturday will not ship until the following Saturday. If you need your order by a particular date, please email me at nicole@kipippiki.com and I will make every effort to be sure your order reaches you on time.

What if I need to return something?
Please contact me at nicole@kipippiki.com within 5 days of receipt of order with either images if the package or item arrived damaged, or the reason for the return/refund request. See my Shipping & Returns page for more info.

Where is my order?
Once an order has shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information. If you have not received an email and you are pretty sure your order should have shipped, email me at nicole@kipippiki.com and we'll get to the bottom on it!

Do you ship overseas?
Unfortunately, at this time I am only able to ship within the United States.

I'm local and/or related to you, can I pick up my order?
Definitely! There is a Local Pick-up option during check-out. Once you select that option and finish the order process, please email me at nicole@kipippki.com and we can make arrangements for pick-up or delivery (if, for example, I'm related to you and you want me to drop it off at Grandpa's, have one of my kids give it to your kid at school, drop it off at your workplace...any of those small-town arrangements. Lol).
